Cafe 21 sits inside a beautiful Grade II listed building on Trinity Street, right in the heart of Colchester. We’re a small, friendly team who love good food, great coffee and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Using fresh, local ingredients from award-winning suppliers, we cook simple, comforting dishes with care.

Think freshly baked sweet and savoury waffles, smoked salmon with organic scrambled eggs, homemade scones and eggs Benedict, with a menu that changes with the seasons. Pair it with excellent coffee, quality teas, local juices or a glass of wine – we’re fully licensed and always happy to see you.
